"She could be the most influential woman in pop” – Evening Standard
Goldierocks, AKA Sam Hall, is an international DJ and broadcaster extraordinaire with a celebrity following that includes Madonna, Giorgio Armani, Richard Branson and Jade Jagger (she’s performed exclusively for them all). Her weekly global radio show ‘The Selector,’ legendary to those in the know, goes out to a staggering 37 countries with over four million dedicated listeners, prompting The Sunday Times to recently describe it as ”the most cutting-edge British music show out there.”
Sam covered for Dev on BBC Radio 1 several times in 2011 and anchored Reebok Radio from the Manchester Warehouse Project throughout 2012. She also hosts a Friday late night specialist dance show ‘Selector After Dark’ on Mexico’s Ibero FM, China’s Loop FM & Warsaw’s Roxy FM.
As well as radio, Sam has stage dived, rocked out and propelled herself off various stages around the globe having DJ’d her unique blend of eclectic house, world beats, mash up electro & bass heavy remixes to thousands across five continents.
She performs at endless festivals worldwide including Creamfields, Latitude, Leeds, Wakestock, Secret Garden Party and Glastonbury to name a mere handful. Then, more unusual venues might be Soviet bunkers in Kazakhstan, the beaches of Lake Malawi, warehouse parties in Shanghai, inside igloo discos in the Alps and then on slightly more luxurious super yachts in Monaco & Sydney Harbour. She also has her own self-titled London club night and has been the official red carpet presenter at the BRIT awards for the past two years running.
She had the honour of performing a 90 minute set at the Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony London 2012 which was televised on C4. With a crowd of 80,000 people with millions watching at home, it was one of many career highlights for Sam.
