Dear students and parents,
We hope you are safe and well. In these uncertain and unprecedented times, it is perfectly normal to feel concerned about your plans to study in the UK. You may be wondering if you will be able to apply this year and for those of you who have already applied, you may be anxious about the status of your application and visas. Some of you are already enrolled in a course in the UK and would welcome more information on the current situation. Most of you are already in touch with the relevant UK universities and colleges and it is very important that you continue to communicate through this period.
For anyone who is worried about their UK study plans or if you would like more information on the ongoing state of affairs in the UK with COVID-19, we hope the following resources will help you.
All prospective and current international and exchange students and researchers, and their families, are requested to visit the Study UK website where you will find a dedicated page containing all relevant information, including information on IELTS. This information is suitable for school, college and university level students. Click here.
In case your scheduled IELTS exams have been cancelled please be assured that we are committed to helping you connect to the support and resources that will position you best to achieve your language goals when testing resumes. To help support you to use this time to improve your language proficiency, we are offering free learning opportunities online, including free IELTS MOOCS (https://www.futurelearn.com/partners/british-council), which students can access remotely.
