The British Council Nepal organized a fair to mark 200 years of Nepal-Britain relationship on March 26 at the Yak and Yeti Hotel, Kathmandu. The major highlight of the event was a collaborative performance between the musical band from Britain – Dallahan and Nepalese instrumental fusion band Kutumba as well as cuisines from Britain and Nepal. The audience was enthralled by the acrobatic-aerial performances by the artists of Circus Kathmandu. The fair concluded with DJ Goldierocks from the UK launching the popular British radio programme – The Selector, in Nepal’s local FM station – Hits FM 91.2 MHz, which will air The Selector for one year. DJ Goldierocks took the crowd to the dance floor with British music at the end.
