Call for Expressions of Interest from Individual Consultants

The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for international educational development and cultural relations present in Nepal since 1959. One of the immediate priorities of British Council Nepal is to support in Nepalese school level examination system reform.

British Council, in partnership with Ministry of Education, is supporting a Technical Assistance for designing examination reform system in Nepal. The Technical Assistance will support the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) in their commitment to reform school examination/assessment system, as set out in the SSRP (2009-2015).  The design will provide a clear roadmap for an examination reform process in Nepal. British Council is recruiting national and international consultants for this assignment.

British Council now invites Expressions of Interest from interested individual consultants for the following positions.

Position

Required Experience

School Examination Specialist

Master’s Degree in Education with at least 10 years’ experience in education sector reform projects, sound knowledge and professional experience in school level assessment system and education project design.

Institutional Specialist

Master’s Degree in relevant field with at least 10 years’ experience in institutional reform and capacity development projects, and sound knowledge and professional experience in education sector.

Financial Management Specialist

Master’s Degree in relevant field with at least 10 years’ experience in financial and economic appraisal, designing financial management systems preferably in education sector.
