Role overview

As IELTS Examiner, you will support the delivery of a variety of tests in various locations, conduct trainings, assessments and support marketing activity. You will work closely with the British Council Services Nepal Private Limited examinations services staff, venue staff team, and venue service providers to ensure the test days run smoothly. 

To be considered for the role, you will need:

  1. Mandatory Requirement: Existing working rights in Nepal- priority will be given to Nepalese citizen
  2. Education: An undergraduate degree or Masters’ degree or a qualification that can be demonstrated to be equivalent to an undergraduate or Masters’ degree
  3. Training: A recognized qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or recognised equivalent as part of a recognised university award course
  4. Experience: At least 3 years full time (or equivalent) relevant TESOL teaching experience (minimum post certificate level qualification). The majority of this teaching experience must relate to adult students (16 years and over)
  5. Other qualities: The required professional attributes and interpersonal skills
