Call for EOI - Programme Designer and Curator- Equal Together

The British Council’s Culture Responds programme supports and celebrates the contribution of culture to sustainable development. In Nepal, one of the programme’s primary focuses is on empowering underrepresented groups—especially women, girls, and LGBTQIA+ individuals—through arts and culture.

Equal Together 2025 is a British Council initiative that supports artists, creative professionals, and arts and culture organisations in Nepal in developing and implementing gender-focused creative projects. It builds on the success of Gender Grants 2023 and culminates in a multi-day arts and culture event.

To deliver this programme, the British Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced individuals and organisations within Nepal’s arts and culture sector. The selected partner will design and implement the Equal Together 2025 programme, contributing to capacity building, mentorship, and curation of a gender-focused arts and culture event, which will be organised in partnership with WOW Foundation, UK. The Design and Curation work will be supported through a grant award, with shared goals of advancing gender equality through arts and culture.
