Shakshyam: QEQS is a three-year capacity building and school improvement programme that takes a whole-school approach to ensure quality education in the partner municipality in Nepal.
The programme aims the following;
- The municipality has the capacity to monitor and evaluate teaching and learning quality, design, implement and assess teachers’ professional development initiatives
- Head Teachers and teachers improve their classroom methodologies and English proficiency, strengthen inclusion and the quality of teaching and learning in their schools
- Students develop their English and life skills in classrooms and while participating in community projects and in-school clubs
- The municipality develops a team of local teacher educators and sustains and supports Continuous Professional Development for local teachers.
