Role overview

The AARMS coordinator will facilitate and coordinate the Nepal-based mentor group by conducting a series of webinars to ensure an alignment of approach to mentoring and the action research process.  At the halfway point in the scheme we plan to organize a face-to-face meeting between the mentors and the coordinator to check progress and provide one-to-one support. At the end of the data collection period the coordinator is expected to offer support and guidance to the AARMS mentors as they collate their experiences and findings to present in a public forum. On completion of the scheme the coordinator will produce a report on AARMS in terms of its outputs, successes and challenges.

The coordinators’ roles will therefore include the following activities:

  • participating and contributing to the mentors’ induction into the scheme
  • delivering mentoring activites/webinars to support the needs of the group
  • conducting monthly meetings with the mentors
  • setting the agenda and delivering sessions for the mid-term meeting
  • offering guidance and support to the mentors in their collation of findings and experiences
  • submiting a report at the end of the Scheme.
